Digital Design is bullshit
This article is an excellent treatise on the pursuit of thinking over style, of substance over bullshit.
Nothing can prepare you for the back breaking, pride swallowing toil of working every day in this field. Everyone thinks your a 'twat', 'a trend whore' and a 'decorator'. All your colleagues see you as competition, all your friends see you as the go to person for style tips. Fuck-you very much Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen.
This is the existence of a modern designer in London's creative agencies. The daily fight between the people that make things (us, programmers, printers) and those that can only talk about doing it (every fucking body else). The prize cock of the bunch though is the 'Account Manager'.
